History

Scheuermann Excavating's founder, David Scheuermann, started nearly 35 years ago with one backhoe and a dump truck. He and a few friends began doing smaller project such as digging swimming pools and excavating basement.

After a few years the company began to grow. More machines, more employees, bigger jobs. Dave now employs 50 hardworking people whom he strives to keep working through cyclical economic situations and inclement weather conditions. He also owns over 100 machines including dozers, loaders, excavators, pavers, scrapers, off-road dump trucks, among others.

Although the majority of the projects undertaken by Scheuermann Excavating have shifted to larger commercial and residential work we have still managed to stay in touch with our roots and also take on smaller residential and state projects.
